Student safety is a top priority in all of our camps. Many of our programs involve real tools, equipment, materials, and active hands-on work, so students are taught clear safety procedures and are expected to follow them carefully.
Our safety approach includes:
active staff supervision
age-appropriate use of tools and equipment
clear instruction before students use materials or machines
step-by-step safety guidance during projects
limits on tool access when needed
immediate response to unsafe behavior
If a student is injured, becomes ill, or needs immediate attention during camp, staff will respond promptly and contact a parent/guardian using the information provided at registration.
Staff may provide basic first aid for minor injuries, but families may be contacted for any situation that requires additional care or monitoring.Â
We will contact a parent/guardian if there is:
an injury beyond minor first aid
illness during camp
a significant safety concern
behavior that puts the student or others at risk
Students are expected to follow safety instructions the first time they are given. Unsafe behavior, misuse of tools, roughhousing, or refusal to follow safety rules may result in removal from an activity, loss of privileges, parent contact, or dismissal from camp.
Families should provide current emergency contact information and note any important medical, allergy, or health information during registration so staff can support students appropriately.
